Lissa leads the Enterprise Team at Converge and is the main point of contact for Converge applicants in the East of Scotland, including Edinburgh, St Andrews and Stirling.

Sam joined Converge as Enterprise Manager in 2025 to support enterprise teams and students across the central belt of Scotland.

He has extensive experience supporting start-ups from concept to commercialisation

Malik looks after applicants from the Glasgow area, including the University of Glasgow, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow Caledonian University and Glasgow School of Art.

Maisie works across both Converge and The Challenges Group, supporting socially driven, mission-led businesses that are creating impact across diverse sectors. Her work focuses on identifying and nurturing early-stage ventures with strong potential for innovation and societal benefit.

Business Workshops

Last semester our Enterprise team ran an online workshop series covering the essentials of starting a business including IP and routes to market; start-up funding and understanding customers with each hour long session tailored specifically for university founders with innovative business propositions.

All are now available to watch on-demand.

We will also be hosting Application and Information Sessions specifically for applicants to our limited-edition Hydrogen and Performing & Production Arts Challenges.
