Entropyst is focused on the design, development and commercialisation of low-entropy (efficient) energy conversion systems; in particular, systems for electrified carbon-free production of cheaper (by >30%) hydrogen gas as the next-generation sustainable fuel and energy storage material.

Hydrogen can store 100 times more energy per kg compared with commercial batteries. Using our patent-protected technologies in novel hydrogen production systems, this University of Strathclyde (UoS) spin-out company will provide licensing and proprietary plant design for energy companies that are active in natural gas (i.e., >92% methane) industries and are looking to swiftly eliminate all their carbon emissions while maintaining high productivity.
