The weekly food shop is a normal part of life, yet the top shelf in supermarkets is beyond the reachable height of the average person. The standard height of supermarket shelving in large stores is 2.25m – which only people 6’4 can comfortably reach.

This product is a cost-effective solution for supermarkets to offer to their shorter customers who otherwise couldn’t reach much of their shelving. Currently the design is in its functional prototype stage, and it could soon be helping even the smallest of adults to reach the distant top shelf.
