Two Raccoons (runner-up)

Two Raccoons make wine from fruits that would have otherwise gone to waste. Since June 2021, we have rescued over 6.5 tonnes of fruit surplus and created 12,000L of wine, including banana, mango, strawberry and blackcurrant wine. In February 2023, we moved from Aberdeen to Glasgow to collaborate with bigger fruit suppliers across Scotland, aiming to repurpose 10 tonnes of fruits by December 2023.
We aim to become the first fully circular winery in the world by repurposing our own winery by-products, such as fermented fruit pulp and lees, to grow gourmet mushrooms and for worm composting.
